STORY:
Nitin (Arvind Swamy) takes a road trip to drop his son Shivam (Himanshu Sharma) to the boarding school. Theirs is a typical father-son relationship where the teenager prefers the company of his gadgets over a conversation with his father. But this comfortable equation changes when Nitin makes a shocking revelation.
REVIEW: It takes guts for the father of a teenaged boy to come out of the closet. And even more, to profess the truth to him. The kid, who fancies looking at adult magazines and has a crush on a girl from the neighbouring school, is shattered when he discovers why his parents are getting a divorce. Director Tanuj Bhramar whips up a charming story that effectively beats the stigma of homosexuality. He paints a poignant tale filled with warmth and some genuine sweet moments.

Iraivi aka Iravi is a Tamil film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Thirukumaran Entertainment. Vijay Sethupathi, S. J. Surya, Bobby Simha, Anjali and Karunakaran will play starring roles.
Production
The title of the film was announced in September 2014 after the release of Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda, with Kumar revealing that Bobby Simha and Karunakaran signed on for roles. Vijay Sethupathi and SJ Suryah were added to the film and it was reported to be a multi-starrer, as production developed.
In April 2015, the film held discussions with actresses for the lead roles with Pooja Kumar and Anjali considered, with the latter later signed on. In June 2015, Kamalinee Mukherjee informed that she was part of the project although she did not divulge details about her role.
The film had an official launch in May 2015 and began filming, with Sivakumar Vijayan announced as the cinematographer replacing Gavemic Ury.
