The excessively delayed project titled Saadey CM Saab is finally set for release this May and the makers have just released the teaser. Take a look at it before I can disclose anything further about the film.
In an interview with TOI, Harbhajan Mann stated that Saadey CM Saab is a take on politics and is a great mix of comedy, action and emotions. “I play a different character. It is a story of three village friends who go through an unexpected thrilling journey in one month while empowering my character of Yuvraj reach the position of CM.”

The makers of the film have cast Rohan Singh, Dev Gill (leading baddie of South Indian films), Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kashish Singh, Inder Bajwa and Mann, lending the film an apt flavour. The film, directed by Vipin Parashar is a result of great research work and story by Sumeet Singh.
“Only when you see this film will you realise how different it is. Punjabi cinema is not just about comedy, there’s a lot more to it,” he says.
Mann enjoyed playing a neta as much as singing Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan anthem in Punjabi lately. And, it’s Bollywood playback singing he wants to concentrate next along with bringing out Punjabi films with substance.
Vipin Prashar who has worked on two Bollywood projects, has Saadey CM Saab as first release. “We have paid attention to every little thing. The film has shot over in some 60 locations over 72 days all over in Punjab,” says Vipin.
The film that is being dubbed in Hindi would see a worldwide release on May 27.
